Attached are a few pictures of Bob Chamberland and crew getting started on the wetlands construction at Dawson Lake. The first day was bright and sunny but as the week wore on, heavy snow and high winds moved in but the site work continued.

Dawson Lake Progress : Jan 24, 2009

Here are some pictures of Dawson Lake Owner/Developer Rick Lazes and Project Manager Bob Chamberland on a January day.

Included also are a few pictures taken exactly one year before when the road building first began. Tremendous progress has been made as can be seen in the before and after shots taken from the same vantage point in the last 2 pictures.

Ole Sondresen

World-class architect Ole Sondresen has designed all of the amenities at Dawson Lake in a style that is modern, yet rustic and original. Ole has designed all of our buildings with the inclusion of natural sustainable materials. Each structure is carefully designed to be compatible with the natural environment, environmentally friendly and energy efficient.

{about Ole}

Ole was born and raised in Southern Norway, where he discovered his passion for carpentry and craftsmanship in his father's woodworking shop. Having spent years working in sawmills and construction while studying the fine arts, his design process is greatly influenced by the possibilities of material composition, detailing and assembly.

His interest in creating architecture that speaks of a particular place originated in his study of vernacular Norwegian buildings, as well as extensive travels through Europe, Asia and the United States to explore regional building typologies.

A graduate from the University of Oregon, Ole has held numerous design positions in Oslo and New York City, working on projects ranging in size from furniture to airports.

Dawson Lake Progress : Dec 1, 2008

Attached are some pictures of Bob and crew sprucing up along Lakeview Drive and also of Bob and Ole' laying out the footprints on several home sites in Phase One.

Ole', a native of Norway, put in a cold day at Dawson Lake and then drove 9 hours in snow to his home in New York City.......
